Jackets fall short on courts

By ZENDA FARRELL | Milton Independent Sports Writer

The Yellowjackets are playing hard but still falling short of victory on the basketball courts.

In a home game played against Colchester on Tuesday, the 3-3 Lakers walloped the Jackets 75- 48.

"We played a solid first half again but fell apart in the second half. As a team, we are having rouble with the turnover bug. Hopefully, we can correct this before Satuday's game against Fairfax," said Coach Jim O'Grady.

Dustin Hendy was high scorer for Milton with 15 points and Mike Bordeaux dropped in 12. The team record sags to 0-6 as the holidays approach.

Coming up, the boys have a home game against Fairfax scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 22 and travel to Winooski on the 27th for a 7 p.m. game.

Go Milton!!
