Local artist designs logo for Milton Public Library

Milton artist Bill Kaigle, owner of Ye Olde Sign Shoppe / Kaigle Creative, created the winning design for the Milton Public Library’s new logo.

“We decided we needed a new logo to celebrate  and represent the beautiful new library and the new library catalog,” library director Heidi Cava said. “We held a logo contest and received 10 highly competitive submissions.”

Kaigle’s was selected by library trustees, staff and Friends of the Library. As a prize for the winning design, he received a $50 gift certificate to the University Mall from the  Friends of the Library.

The new logo will be used on the library’s forthcoming website and its new online catalog, as well as on letterhead and future items such as T-shirts and bookbags.
