October Students of the Month

Kyle McRae

Kyle is an amazing student when it comes to working with his peers. Even though his skills are higher than others, he makes a point of not taking over, encouraging others and even stepping back so someone else can shine. His ability to put himself in other’s shoes is admirable.

Scott has just recently moved into our school district. He has proven himself to be an extremely hard worker. He has finished his community service requirement already, and has gone above and beyond in all academic requirements.

Shayne is a student who not only puts forth his best effort academically, but also shows concern and respect for his fellow students. He has consistently shown a positive attitude. He is a model for others!

Ami is not only an excellent Latin student, she is fun to have in class. She is enthusiastic, encouraging and thoughtful towards her fellow students.

Liz is an outstanding English student. She earned an A+ quarter one in AP Language and Composition. Her work is always done and of the highest quality. Also Liz brings a positive energy and excitement to class.

Shane Mason

Shane Mason is an excellent AP English student. He does amazing homework. In fact, he is the only student I have ever told to stop doing so much work each night. He is a true scholar who loves to learn. And the quality of his work is outstanding. Shane also has a great sense of humor, which adds to our class.

Samantha is an excellent Advanced Placement English student. She received an A+ for quarter one. Often Sam stays after school to complete or perfect her work. Her consistent effort is praiseworthy. Sam has been selected as one of two students chosen by the English department to apply to the Breadloaf Writing weekend in May. Also, Sam asks very penetrating thoughtful questions.

Courtney is a hard worker. She always has her homework done in AP English and she earned an A+ for quarter one. She is one of the hardest workers on the yearbook staff according to Ms. Montague. Courtney is a scholar and a dedicated student.

J.P. had an unfortunate soccer injury that not only sidelined him athletically, but also forced him to miss a significant amount of school. He worked very hard to get back on track in a short amount of time and achieved awesome grades in all classes.
