It’s not a haunted lawn, but instead a holiday tradition from Hobbs Road resident Brett Loiselle, who decorates his lawn each year to celebrate the Halloween season.
Unfortunately, his display (photo above) was struck the evening of Oct. 18 by thieves, who stole everything pictured above except the grim reaper and scarecrow, which were securely attached to the chairs.
“It’s just heartbreaking that someone would do that,” said a family member.
The theft was reported to police and items had a value of $500, Yet it was the principal of the matter that really had Loiselle disappointed with the situation.
Even so, he’s regrouped the display and is planning to continue the tradition.
“I’m just not going to let them damped my spirits,” he said.
