Weddings

Drown - Pinard

MaryBeth and Tony Pinard-Brace of Shelburne are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Ariana Elizabeth Pinard, formerly of Milton, to Jeffrey Drown, son of Ashton Drown, Barre, VT on Saturday, August 25.

The couple were married at Allis State Park in Brookfield, VT. Non-denominational minister Marna Ehrech of Shelburne officiated the double-ring ceremony. A reception at the park followed. After the reception, the couple left on a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas.

Mrs. Drown graduated from CVU in 2000 and also attended Milton Elementary School and Mater Christi Middle School. Prior to the wedding she was manager of Claire’s Boutique at the University Mall. Mr. Drown graduated from Spaulding High School and plans to open his own car stereo business. The couple will reside in Brandon, VT.


Berard - Durcharme

Milton - Doddi Lynn Ducharme (Bourne), daughter of David Ducharme of Cambridge and Cindy Ducharme of Burlington, and Michael Berard Jr., son of Michael Berard Sr. of Milton and Mary Hall of Richmond, were united in marriage on July 7, 2007.

The Rev. Steven Hornat officiated at the double ring ceremony at St. Joseph's Church in Burlington.

Becky LaClair, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Parrott, Dawn Ducharme, Tammy Berard, Amy S. Ducharme, Amy L. Ducharme and Melinda Thibault. Mariah Parrott was a junior bridesmaid. Davilyn and Raelyn Bourne were the flower girls.

Peter LaClair, friend of the groom, was the best man. Ushers were David Parrott, Richard Hunt, Paul LaClair, Henrey Gendron, Leonard Ducharme Jr., and Leonard Lockwood Jr. Jayden Bourne and Nicholas Parrott were the ring bearers.

A reception was held at Knights of Columbus in South Burlington. After the wedding the couple went on a honeymoon in Atlantic City, N.J.

Mrs. Berard graduated from Community College of Vermont with an Accounting Degree and is currently attending Champlain College for her Bachelors Degree. Her husband is pursuing his automotive career as well as carpentry work. The couple resides, in Milton.


Sweet - Whitehouse

Melody K. Whitehouse, daughter of Frances Munro and the late Buzz Munro of Milton, and Daryl Sweet, son of Roy and Judy Sweet of Milton, were united in marriage on July 7, 2007.

Brenda Steady performed the ceremony; Don Turner Jr. officiated at the double-ring ceremony at the Milton Grange Hall in Milton.

Carlene Adams was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Munro, Debra Quesnel, Kayla Sweet and junior bridesmaid was Sara Hamlin.

Robert Fleming was best man. Ushers were Chris Munro, Mark Lamotte, Chauncy Millington, and junior usher was Dakota Whitehouse.

The reception was held at the Grange in Milton after which the couple left for Bath, N.H.

Mr. and Mrs. Sweet both attended Milton High School. Mrs. Sweet is a homemaker and her husband is employed by the Vermont Transportation Agency. They reside in Milton.


Hebert - Pinnell

Jamie Lee Pinnell of Yakima, Washington and Joel Kevin Hebert of Milton, VT were joined in marriage on Tuesday, August 14. The ceremony took place at Thompson Memorial Chapel on the campus of Williams College in Williamstown, Mass.

Rev. Richard Spaulding, Williams College Chaplain officiated the double ring ceremony. Nancy Pinnell, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Christina Martin, Elizabeth Remus, Robin Ziegler and Katharine Burgess. Josh Wisenbeck was the best man. The groomsmen were Kyle Hebert, Paul Berry, Patrick Lamb, and Erik Tomberg.

A reception at the Williams Inn followed after which the couple left for their honeymoon in Guatemala.

The bride will be teaching at the Boston Collegiate School in Dorchester, Mass, and the groom will be a high school English instructor at Bedford High School in Bedford, Mass. They will reside in Somerville, Mass.


Sibley - Santore

MILTON - Tara Anna Santore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Santore of St. Albans, and Joshua Adam Sibley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sibley of Milton, were united in marriage June 23.

The Rev. John G. Feltz officiated at the double-ring ceremony in St. Ann Catholic Church.

Katie Aldrich was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Monica Santore, Julie Santore, Jennifer Ventura, Bridget Sibley and Maria Boyer. Jordan Couture was flower girl.

Nicholas Sibley was best man. Ushers were Christopher Sibley, Jason Pope, Sergio Ventura, Richard St. Amour Jr. and Vincent St. Amour. Ethan Sibley was ring bearer.

A receptiion was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in St. Albans, after which the couple left for Stowe.

Mrs. Sibley graduated from BFA-St. Albans and Southern Vermont College. She is a nurse at Northwestern Medical Center. Her husband graduated from BFA-St. Albans. He is a machine operator at Med Associates. They reside in Georgia.


Dukette - Mossey

Bethany Jayne Mossey of Winooski, daughter of Anne and Louis Mossey III of Milton and Donald James Dukette of Winooski, son of Claude and Marie Danis of Burlington were united in marriage Dec. 2, 2006.

Father Richard Lavalley officiated at the double ring ceremony in St. Francis Xavier Church.

Monica Mossey was maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Tania Horton and Hannah Leslie was flower girl.

Mark Fournier was best man and the groomsman was Henry Leslie. Alexander Haag was ring bearer.

The couple went on a western Carribean cruise to Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Mexico and the Bahamas for their honeymoon.

Mrs. Dukette graduated from Milton Jr./Sr. High School and attended Anna Maria College and graduated from Champlain College. She is employed at Fletcher Allen Health Care. Her husband graduated from Burlington High School and is employed at Fletcher Allen Health Care. The couple reside in Chittenden County,


Rogati - Johnston

Milton - Patricia Johnston, daughter of Doug and Linda Johnston of Milton and Ethan Rogati, son of Pete and Marilyn Rogati of Cortland, NY were united in marriage on July 21, 2007.

Pastor Jeff Cornwell performed the ceremony at the United Church of Milton. Michelle Trayah was Maid of Honor. Paul Coats was best man.

A reception immediately followed the ceremony after which the couple left for Montpelier, VT and Cape Anne, MA.

Mrs. Rogati is a graduate of Milton High School, The University of Vermont, and Southern New Hampshire University. She is employed by Northwestern Counseling and Support Services. Her husband is a graduate of Faith Christian Accademy and Binghamton University. He is employed by Green Mountain Messenger. They reside in Milton.


Mayo - Goodman

ESSEX - Michelle Goodman, daughter of Rose Kirkpatrick of Milton, and Michael Mayo, son of Bob and Mary Mayo of Florida, were united in marriage June 23.

The Rev. Joe Moore officiated at the single-ring ceremony in Essex Alliance Church.

Angela Francis was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sandra Kirkpatrick and Rose Goodman, sisters of the bride, and Megan Mayo, daughter of the groom. Rory Well and Alexa Eddy were flower girls.

Stan Mayo was best man. Ushers were Michael Goodman, brother of the bride, Michael Mayo, son of the groom, and Dan Landry. Matthew and Erik Goodman were ring bearers.

A reception was held at the Sunset Ballroom in South Burlington, after which the couple left for Arizona.

Mrs. Mayo graduated from Burlington High School. Her husband graduated from Milton High School. He is serving in the Vermont Army National Guard. They reside in Arizona.


Engagements

Zitta - Manley

Gary and Karen Zitta of Swanzey, NH are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Michelle Jean Zitta of Swanzey, to Jeffrey Thomas Manley of Milton, VT. The future groom is the son of James and Lorraine Manley of Milton.

Michelle is a 2001 graduate of Monadnock Regional High School. She is employed as a Kinesiology Instructor at the University of New Hampshire. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2005 with a B.S. in Kinesiology- Exercise Science and in 2007 with a M.S. in Kinesiology.

Jeffrey is employed as a Business Systems Analysts for the Liberty Mutual Group. He is a 2001 graduate of Milton High School and received a B.S. in Business Administration – Entrepreneurial Venture Creation in 2005 from the University of New Hampshire.

A summer 2008 wedding is planned.


Anniversaries

Quintin 50th

Claire and Paul Quintin, Sr. with Father Maurice Roy of Ascension Church officiating, renewed their vows before 178 friends and family.

The bridal party also included Maid of Honor Marion Taft and Best Man Paul Quintin Jr. Attendees include daughter Ann Marie Gillilan, and daughters-in-law Kelle Quintin, Lisa Quintin, Theresea Quintin and Diane Quintin, and the flower girl was granddaughter Taylor Quintin. Groomsmen were sons Peter Quintin, Tim Quintin and Shawn Quintin.

Witnessing the event were son-in-law Ken Gillilan, grandchildren Chris and Christina Quintin, Casey Quintin, Priscilla Barry, Brandon and Cole Quintin, and Keegan, Kayden and Kaleb Gillilan, and great-grandchildren Ethan and Evan Quintin.

The renewal was followed by a reception at the Holiday Inn Sunset Ballroom. The happy couple left the next day for a week in Florida.

Paul and Claire are the owners of Claire's Daycare in Georgia. They wish to thank Kelle for the floral arrangements, Ann for the invitations, Lisa for the centerpieces, Paul Jr. and Diane for the photo display and all who attended. They send this message: "We love you all and thank you for being there to share this special day with us."


Lukehart 50th  

Congratulations to Bernie & Gloria Lukehart who celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on August 10th!
 
Their daughters, Wendy and Wanda, hosted an intimate family gathering in Massachusetts to honor the event.
 
They are loved and adored by their family and friends and wished continued health and happiness together!

Madison Alexis Rose was born to Ethan Rose and Katherine Emery on Saturday,
August 18.

Aurianna Jasmine Quintyne was born to Tamara Tobin and Lij Quintyne on Sunday, July 15.

Devon James Longley was born to Angela (McCaffrey) and Daniel Longley on Tuesday, July 24.
